Car in fatal hit-and-run found torched

The Ford Mustang that killed a 52-year-old Queens man on New Year’s morning in a hit-and-run crash was found set in flames later in Long Island, police sources told the Post.

The NYPD is still searching for the driver, as state police conduct an arson investigation of the red 2017 Mustang. The vehicle was found burning at 3 p.m. Sunday on the Robert Moses State Parkway, just south of the Southern State Parkway.

Earlier in the day, the car struck and killed Thomas Bradley Jr. as he tried to cross South Conduit Avenue near Rockaway Boulevard.

State police released a photo of the smoldering car and are asking anyone with information to call them at 631-756-3300.
